DESCRIPTION
The Route 66 Drive-in Theater in Springfield and Skyview Drive-In in Litchfield are reopening this first week of May.

The Route 66 Drive-in Theater made this announcement on Facebook recently.
“We got the go-ahead to open the drive in, so we will open on May 8 for the weekend and then maybe more nights the following week. Tickets will have to be presold and will be done through our website. My capacity will be half as have to park every other spot. Concessions will be done through an app called FanFood and then will pick up at the pick-up window. I recommend downloading the app before you arrive. It will be going live this week for you to take a tour. We will be showing a single feature rather than double to keep restroom use down. The playground will be closed. Guests need to stay in there vehicle and park facing forward. No hatches will be allowed up.”

You must purchase admission tickets online prior to arrival. Open seven nights a week beginning May 8, 2020 (Gates open at 7:30 pm).
Playing Friday, May 8 Thru Thursday, May 14, 2020:
Screen 1 – 89.1 FM
Trolls World Tour, PG, 8:30 PM Start time
Screen 2 – 106.3 FM
The Invisible Man, R, 8:45 PM

The Skyview Litchfield made their announcement online a couple of days ago.
“The Litchfield Skyview Drive-In will open for our 70th season this coming Friday. May 8th and 9th, we will show Goonies starting at 8:25 pm. Sunday, May 10, we will show Dazed and Confused. Gates open all three nights at 7:30. The next weekend, May 15th & 16th, we will show ET, with gates opening at 7:30 and the show starting at 8:20.

We will have food available at our new Order Window, which will not be far from our Order Pick Up! Bathrooms will be cleaned throughout the night on a regular basis. Cars will be asked to park one in between each set of poles, instead of two. Other than that, the basic rule of thumb is to please stay in your vehicle, not in the back or hatch, or in lawn chairs outside. The playground and outdoor seating areas will be inaccessible for now. Please come enjoy our snack bar via the order window, and remember to social distance! We are SUPER excited to be opening!”

Please check both websites/Facebook pages for ticket purchases and specifics, including COVID-19 regulations for these businesses.
